DDiana J.I got this ring for myself after years of procrastinating. I was so excited and I wore it every day for the 3 weeks leading up to my wedding even though I bought it to wear as an accessory on my wedding day. Got so many compliemtns on it as well. Sadly, on our wedding day we took a heli up to a glacier where it was cold and my fingers shrunk and the ring just slipped off. I watched helplessly as it fell into a deep crevasse between the rock and snow along the cliff edge. . . there was no hope for retrieving it I gave the gold and diamonds in this ring back to the universe from which they came. Anyway, I am glad I didn't wait until the wedding day to wear it and got to enjoy it for the brief 3 weeks it could hang onto my finger for. When I am done grieving, I will be repurchasing.
